What is mobile event production?
Mobile event production means bringing all the equipment, technicians, and operational support directly to your event location — venue, outdoor space, studio, office, theater, or temporary site. Threshold handles transportation, setup, soundcheck, operation, troubleshooting, and breakdown so you do not need to source gear, transport it, or operate it yourself.
What equipment can Threshold bring to my venue?
We bring PA speakers, subwoofers, mixers, wired and wireless microphones, microphone stands, cables, playback systems, battery-powered audio options, and recording equipment. For larger events, we can cross-rent additional equipment through established rental partners.
Can I rent a sound system with a technician?
Yes. You can book equipment with an operator, a technician only, or a complete mobile production package that includes equipment, engineer, setup, operation, and breakdown. We build the package around what your event actually needs.
Do you provide delivery, setup, and breakdown?
Yes. Transportation, equipment delivery, setup, soundcheck, and breakdown are all available. You can book equipment-only with pickup, delivery and setup without an operator, or a full production package that includes teardown.
Can you operate equipment already at the venue?
Yes. If your venue has a house PA system or existing audio equipment, we can send a technician or engineer to operate it. You do not need to rent equipment from us to book labor.
Do you provide battery-powered sound systems?
Yes. Battery-powered PA systems are available when appropriate — for outdoor events, parks, rooftops, pop-ups, and venues with limited electrical access. Not every event requires battery power, but we have portable options when venue power is unavailable or insufficient.

We need the event date, address, indoor or outdoor setting, event type, estimated attendance, start and end times, load-in time, venue access details, available electrical power, equipment needed, whether you need a technician or operator, any recording or video requirements, and an approximate budget if you have one.
Do you provide backup equipment?
We test all equipment before events and plan for common failure points. Backup microphones, cables, and critical signal chain components are brought to events where practical. For larger productions, we coordinate backup systems through rental partners.
How far in advance should I book?
